Process Design of Oil & Gas transportation systems, pipelines, compression stations and pumping units are a substantial market for OILTECH that completed many projects in this sector.

OILTECH has successfully served a major number of Oil companies, EPC Contractors and engineering companies.

OILTECH designs topping refineries and hydro skimming refineries to produce Diesel Oil and Gasoline from Crude and Condensate.
The detailed engineering of the process units that compose these refineries (crude oil desalting, atmospheric distillation, hydrotreating, reforming, gas treating) and the relevant utility systems (fuel gas, hydrogen purification) are part of the services offered by OILTECH.

OILTECH provides engineering services for the “Balance of Plants” (BoP) that is the auxiliary systems that support the power plants itself.

The mechanical BoP includes Fuel as Conditioning Unit and all the non-electric utility system i.e. NOx reduction, utility air, nitrogen, hot and cold utilities.

OILTECH has developed many projects of various kinds for the chemical sector. Usually these works were “brownfield” works and involved modifications or expansions of existing plants.

Extensive experiences have been developed in the phenolic resin sector.

For about two years OILTECH has been developing a research project for the definition of an innovative plant for the upgrading of biogas and biomethane. The new plant is based on a low pressure absorption process on a newly developed fixed bed.
